THE GRINDMOTHER Appears On THE MAURY SHOW [With Video]                                       The One and Only '' The Grindmother''! In a strange colliding of underground and mainstream universes, the viral grindcore sensation dubbed by the media as  The Grindmother  appeared on Tuesday's episode of  The Maury Show .  You can watch the segment below. The Grindmother  first caught the public eye in January, when  Rain Forest  (frontman for the Canadian grindcore band  Corrupt Leaders)  posted a video of his  66 year-old Mother recording guest vocals  for what would later become their  Grindmother  EP.  The clip, which was filmed spontaneousy, went viral and received a barrage of media coverage and television airplay. According to her newly launched Facebook page, The Grindmother has "some new things coming ...

Antonello Giliberto - Guitar and Keyboard Here's what Antonello has to say about the album: I began work on Journey Through My Memory in September 2013, when by chance I was watching Frances Ford Coppola’s Dracula , which gave me the inspiration to write the album’s first track, Demeter (the name of the ship on which Dracula arrives in England.) From there I started down the path of writing through to July 2014, when I finished the track that closes the album, The Art of Ending. I do a lot of driving, so the ideas for many of my songs come to me in the car, or perhaps after a dream.  The first thing I do is record the melody on my smartphone, and then I slowly develop them in my recording studio. The title of the album stems from the fact that every track is in some way about me, about my past, about how my past experiences creatively explode into music. For this album I had in mind a symphonic metal sound, and so I included in each track ...

L-R : Rubén Salvador, Anthony Stephen, Willy Gascón, Ángel "Choco" Muñoz In July 2014, I received this sad news and now I got the chance to release it. Here the update about the progress of the new project with the bassists, Angel. Nearly one month ago, Willy Gascón communicated to the other members of Steel Horse his unilateral decision of leaving the band for personal reasons after releasing the third album to be called "Call Me Death" which was in its final stages of recording by our new singer Anthony Stephen. The agreement at that time was releasing the album and playing all the live commitments acquired after the summer with Omission. After that tour the band would dissolve as long as Willy Gascón was the band leader. Last week, again unilaterally by Willy Gascón and citing personal problems within the group this time, we received the news that the album we had been two years working at and its tour were both canceled, being damaged by this decision ...

RIOT's classic "Thundersteel" and "Privilege Of Power" lineup reunited in 2009 and delivered a critically acclaimed album, "Immortal Soul", via major metal heavyweights SPV/ Steamhammer and Avalon/ Marquee. A successful tour with performances on the prestigious 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise and appearances at Sweden Rock and Metalway festivals solidified RIOT's long-sought-after return a success, but success doesn't come without tragedy. The band's journey has never been easy, with personnel changes and the untimely deaths of frontmen Guy Speranza, Rhett Forrester as well as the passing of long-time founding guitarist Mark Reale who finally lost his lifelong battle with Crohn's disease early last year, and with Tony Moore battling his own demons and health issues, RIOT, like Johnny, are back again!
