THE GRINDMOTHER Appears On THE MAURY SHOW [With Video]                                       The One and Only '' The Grindmother''! In a strange colliding of underground and mainstream universes, the viral grindcore sensation dubbed by the media as  The Grindmother  appeared on Tuesday's episode of  The Maury Show .  You can watch the segment below. The Grindmother  first caught the public eye in January, when  Rain Forest  (frontman for the Canadian grindcore band  Corrupt Leaders)  posted a video of his  66 year-old Mother recording guest vocals  for what would later become their  Grindmother  EP.  The clip, which was filmed spontaneousy, went viral and received a barrage of media coverage and television airplay.    CORRUPT LEADERS formed in April 2013, recording their debut 7" one month later.  That first year they took their rabid Canadian crust on the road to major US cities such as Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburg, Baltimore and NYC. A split 7" with Indiana's DOGMA followed with original drummer Matt Menard departing to Montreal to form DEALER.  A few months later Tyson (THE APEX) joined on drums along with additional guitarist Johny B and the lineup recorded the "Grindmother" EP.  The band is currently writing material for their first full-length LP, to be released via Give Praise Records.                              L to R: Mattu, Jay, Rain Forest, John, Tyson.  They will release their third EP, "Grindmother", digitally via Bandcamp on Feb 3.  The four song, 3 minute EP will also be released on vinyl in April 2015.
