Hazy Hamlet, NWOBHM, Brazillian Metal

When you talk about Brazilian Metal, two trends come in mind: melodic or extreme. HAZY HAMLET, founded in 1999, brings at the time some alternative to old-school heavy metal lovers, being highlighted for the neat independent work. The special care with its releases helps the group to draw attention of specialized press and build a solid reputation - even being based far from any big Metal center.
Three "demo" materials are released before the band's debut, the earlier two selling out quickly and distributed worldwide, and the later one released as downloadable single. During this period HAZY HAMLET plays for a crowd of 5000 headbangers aside the melodic Brazilian act SHAMAN.
The previous works pave the way for HAZY HAMLET's first full-length, FORGING METAL, self-produced and released in 2009. Praises are received worldwide, and FORGING METAL is distributed in USA, Mexico, France, Germany, Greece, Sweden, Japan. The album is chosen the best of 2009 by "All the Bangers webzine" (BRA) and 5th by "The Gates of Metal" (POR).
With the great repercussion, HAZY HAMLET is invited by Bart Gabriel to have a song included in his killer "Monuments of Steel" compilation and by German label Remedy Records to record a song for a tribute to W.A.S.P.


A serious dysphonia by singer Arthur Migotto made the band cancel its plans of tour in 2011, though as comeback from a 2-year hiatus, HAZY HAMLET records a new album: FULL THROTTLE - a cult Metal riff-driven work with lots of influences from the NWOBHM.

SYJ band originally from the ` Ex - December ' which also established by Syed Yusof Jamalulail ( at that time he was a member of the traffic police in Ipoh ) . It changed to the name ` SYJ ' in 1978 . The original members ` SYJ ' 1978 consists of Halim ( guitar and keyboard) , Fat Man ( bass ) , Pak Su Nor (drums - later replaced by  Din Urko) and Hamidi ( Flute ) . Female singer Rohana Kassim . SOFEA initially established by the late Syed Yusuf Jamalulail otherwise known as " Pak syed " with SYJ name in 1983 in Kampung Manjoi Ipoh, Perak . During the SYJ just playing weddings homes only. At that time, the original vocalist Amir SYJ'86 not he taken when vocalist audition for this group . Amir joined SYJ in 1985 . Pak Syed 's house when only a jamming studio . Andromedha band Hard Rock dari surabaya Indonesia   Dalam formasi pertama, beberapa ahli permain lainnya iaitu Heru (Vokal), Lucky (Gitar) serta Yani dan Juki, pada 1989 merilis single 'Prestasi'. Masuk tahun 1990, ada perubahan ahli, yakni Pungky Deaz (Vokal), Hendrix Sanada (Bass) dan James (Keyboard) menggantikan posisi Heru, Yani dan Juki. Pada tranformasi ini menghasilkan single legendaris 'Lamunan' yang tersohor dan konon pula sempat merajai chart radio di Malaysia yang berdampingan dengan 'Isabella' nya SEARCH. Ku Nazhatulshima Kamarazzaman atau lebih dikenali dengan gelaran Shima merupakan seorang penyanyi rock Malaysia sekitar awal tahun 90'an dahulu. Pun begitu, keupayaan beliau menyampaikan lagu pop yang bernada tinggi sangat memukau peminat muzik rock tanahair suatu masa dahulu. Lagu Setelah Aku Kau Miliki dan Teringin membariskan nama Shima sebagai antara penyanyi yang popular pada era 90an. Biografi Shima dilahirkan di Sungai Ara, Banting, Selangor pada 12 September 1969.
