TORMENTRESS is an all-female girl band from Singapore, formed back in 2006.
The line-up went finally stable in 2011 around Aniz (Bass), Gwen (Guitars), Tuty (Drums), Mas (Guitars) and Neez (Vocals)
Musically the band is inspired by old-school Thrash bands like Kreator, Sepultura, Sodom, Detente, Destruction, Holy Moses... expect RAW & staight-in-your-face Thrash metal here !
"Break The Barrier" was the band's first demo in 2008, including three songs,that allowed the band to get known thru the local scene first but also internationally ! Only one year after, in 2009 the band released a MCD called "Thrashing Disorder" thru SICK CHAINSAWS Records (a label based in Thailand) that helped the band to get more known abroad with a better distribution worldwide ! German label NECROMANCER Records released "Thrashing Disorder" on a limited 7"EP picture-disc edition (400 copies) that went quickly SOLD-OUT !!
Finally almost 6 years after, the band returns with their first full-length album on french record label INFERNO Records and is ready to BLAST you with their new songs (note one of them is a cover of KREATOR's classic "Tormentor"), still in the old-school THRASH METAL style, but more ferocious, more intense, faster, rawer ! You're warned, these girls are gonna kick your ass !
The OPERATION TORMENT has just begun and you're the victim !

SYJ band originally from the ` Ex - December ' which also established by Syed Yusof Jamalulail ( at that time he was a member of the traffic police in Ipoh ) . It changed to the name ` SYJ ' in 1978 . The original members ` SYJ ' 1978 consists of Halim ( guitar and keyboard) , Fat Man ( bass ) , Pak Su Nor (drums - later replaced by  Din Urko) and Hamidi ( Flute ) . Female singer Rohana Kassim . SOFEA initially established by the late Syed Yusuf Jamalulail otherwise known as " Pak syed " with SYJ name in 1983 in Kampung Manjoi Ipoh, Perak . During the SYJ just playing weddings homes only. At that time, the original vocalist Amir SYJ'86 not he taken when vocalist audition for this group . Amir joined SYJ in 1985 . Pak Syed 's house when only a jamming studio . Andromedha band Hard Rock dari surabaya Indonesia   Dalam formasi pertama, beberapa ahli permain lainnya iaitu Heru (Vokal), Lucky (Gitar) serta Yani dan Juki, pada 1989 merilis single 'Prestasi'. Masuk tahun 1990, ada perubahan ahli, yakni Pungky Deaz (Vokal), Hendrix Sanada (Bass) dan James (Keyboard) menggantikan posisi Heru, Yani dan Juki. Pada tranformasi ini menghasilkan single legendaris 'Lamunan' yang tersohor dan konon pula sempat merajai chart radio di Malaysia yang berdampingan dengan 'Isabella' nya SEARCH. Pada sesion rekaman debut album 'Konser Rock' tahun 1991, posisi James digantikan oleh Deny Ireng. Pada tahun 1992 hingga tahun 1993 posisi gitar ditempati oleh Ipunx dari Power Metal. CHOSEN was born back in the 1998 here in Kuala Lumpur. Begin with Rahish(Guiarist) and Amgreg(Vocal/Keyboardist) as the founder of the band. Chosen have steadily achieved a startlingly sublime synthesis of soaring and MYSTICAL melody(JAVA music), progressive instrumentation and aggressive heaviness unrivaled within PROGRESSIVE HEAVY METAL.  With the calibrations of the original line up, Rahish(Guitarist), Amgreg(Vocalist/Keyboardist), Jamm(Bassist), Mel(Drummer),& SNEQ(Keyboardist) they came out with their 1st album entittle 'PRAY AND OBEY' in 2000.The music was influence by RUSH, MANOWAR, and MERCYFUL FATE.
